The cyclonic storm “YAAS” in East-central Bay of Bengal was located near latitude 16.5°N and longitude 89.6°E (at 1130hrs of 24 May). It is expected to be intensified into a severe cyclonic storm during next few hours – Met Department at 4.30 PM
