Single-use plastic and polythene to be banned from January 2021
The cabinet of Ministers has approved a proposal to ban single-use plastic and polythene with effect from 01st January 2021.
Steps have also been taken by the Central Environmental Authority, to promote an alternative to the banned polythene while those regulations are in force.
