Consumer Affairs Authority takes legal action against Laugfs Gas over supply disruptions
The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has filed legal action against Laugfs Gas over its failure to maintain a continuous supply of gas to consumers.
The action follows complaints received by the authority regarding irregularities in the company’s gas distribution.
The CAA filed a case against the company before the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court today.
The court has also taken steps to issue summons to the company.
The case is scheduled to be taken up again on the 11th.
