Death of ex-minister T.B. Ekanayake
Former minister T.B. Ekanayake passed away at the Cooperative Hospital in Kurunegala this morning (06), aged 66 years.
He had been ailing for some time.
First elected to parliament in 1994, he held cabinet and state ministerial portfolios.
The long-time SLFP organizer for Yapahuwa electorate, he failed to win at the general election this year.
