Sri Lanka men & women crowned champions at Central & South Asia Rugby 7s
Sri Lanka enjoyed a dominant campaign at the Central and South Asia Rugby Sevens tournament in Uzbekistan, with both the men’s and women’s teams emerging champions in their respective competitions.
The Sri Lanka men’s team clinched the Central and South Asia Men’s Rugby Sevens title after defeating India 31-10 in the final.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka’s women’s team also secured the championship, producing a commanding performance to beat Kazakhstan 27-0 in the Cup Final.
The double triumph marks a successful outing for Sri Lanka Rugby in the regional tournament, with both national teams finishing on top in Uzbekistan.
