Electricity and petroleum supply gazetted as essential services

A special gazette notification has been issued declaring the supply of electricity and all related services as well as the supply or distribution of petroleum products and fuel, as essential services.

Presidential Secretary Saman Ekanayake has issued the Extraordinary Gazette notification yesterday (20) on the directive of President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
