Government to Expand Elderly Allowance Beneficiaries to One Million

The government has decided to increase the number of recipients of the elderly allowance to one million eligible individuals.

Deputy Minister of Rural Development, Social Security, and Community Empowerment Wasantha Piyatissa said that discussions on the matter have already commenced.
