Train derails disrupting services on up-country line
A Colombo-bound train arriving from Badulla has derailed between Nawalapitiya and Ulapane railway stations, disrupting train services on the Up-country Railway Line, according to Sri Lanka Railways.
It is reported that the train’s engine has detailed in the Pallegama area and that steps are currently being taken to re-rail the engine.
