Three Police Officers Suspended Amid Assault Investigation

Three police officers from the Pamunugama police station have been suspended over an investigation into the alleged assault of two detained youths.

The youths were arrested on suspicion of breaking into a house and stealing a gold necklace.

They have been released on bail.
