Sri Lankan Army Promotes Over 1,500 Personnel in Commemoration of Civil War Anniversary
Sri Lanka Army announced the promotion of 1,509 personnel, coinciding with the 15th anniversary of the nation's victory in the civil war.
The promotions include 114 officers and 1,395 other ranks, all receiving advancement to the next level within their respective positions.
The promotions were authorized by Army Commander Lt. Gen. Vikum Liyanage, with final approval granted by President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
