Parliament to Debate on VAT and Tax Exemptions Today.
The Parliament will hold a debate on the Value Added Tax (VAT) Amendment Bill and the Finance Bill today.
the debate is scheduled to begin at 9:30 AM and last until 4:30 PM.
Key points of discussion include the proposed reduction of the VAT rate from 18% to 15%, as well as the inclusion of health equipment, water, electricity, mineral oil, food essentials, and agricultural equipment.
