36 people gunned down so far in 2023 - Police.

A total of 36 people have been assassinated by gunmen so far in 2023, said Sri Lanka Police.

Police Spokesperson SSP Nihal Thalduwa told News 1st that 60 shooting incidents have been reported so far in 2023, and these incidents have left 28 people injured.
