Sri Lanka to introduce electric buses for passenger transport.
Sri Lanka's Cabinet of Ministers has given the green light to introduce electric buses to operate on the streets of Colombo.
Minister Bandula Gunawardena told News 1st that electric buses, trains, and three-wheelers will be introduced to the existing passenger transport service.
The Department of Motor Traffic had already started to register electric three-wheelers, said the Minister.
