Rescue operation carried out at Weli-Oya to rescue couple, 2 others missing (Video)
A rescue operation was conducted today to save a couple who had gone to bathe in Weli-Oya in the Kalupana area in Haldumulla.
The couple were stranded after the water level of the waterfall had increased due to heavy showers.
Meanwhile, a father and son who had also gone to bathe in the waterfall are reported missing.
Video footage has emerged of the rescue operation that was conducted to save the couple.
