Minor earth tremor reported in Walapane
A minor earth tremor has been reported from the Nuwara Eliya District this morning (January 31), the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau (GSMB) stated.
The tremor has been felt in the Walapane area in Nuwara Eliya.
As per the GSMB, the tremor has measured up to 2 points on the Richter scale
