Dollar rate today: USD selling rate increases to Rs. 338

The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated against the US Dollar across commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (16), compared to Monday, with the selling rate increasing to Rs. 338 in some banks.

According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US dollar remain unchanged at Rs. 325.25 and Rs. 337.00, respectively. 

At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US dollar has increased from Rs. 327.00 to Rs. 329.00, while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 336.00 to Rs. 338.00.

However, at People’s Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 326.02 to Rs. 327.99, while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 336.28 to Rs. 338.31.

Commercial Bank reports that the buying rate has increased from Rs. 323.60 to Rs. 327.07 and the selling rate from Rs. 334.50 to Rs. 337.00, respectively.

At Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates have increased from Rs. 327.50 to Rs. 328.50 and from Rs. 336.50 to Rs. 337.50, respectively.
