Firearm Surrender Review to End Today; Legal Action for Unsubmitted Weapons
The Ministry of Defence says that the review of appeals regarding the surrender of firearms will conclude today.
The Secretary to the Ministry, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha said that firearms not surrendered within the given time period and those not presented to the review and inspection committee will be considered illegal firearms, and legal action will be taken accordingly.
